Padel was founded in Mexico in 1969, but it is a new sport to South Africa, with the first court launched in Western Cape in Paarl in late 2019.
There are currently 50 sites in South Africa where you can play, with a total of 175 courts. However, there are numerous courts currently under construction all around South Africa.
